Description

Norske Bygdeopplevelser offer package tours for all (mountain) hiking enthusiasts who are looking to combine walking in the mountains with a certain level of comfort -- spectacular countryside in combination with hotel/mountain lodge accommodation and luggage transfer. Delicious food is served in pleasant surroundings each and every evening, and those of you who prefer not to walk alone are guaranteed to make friends along the way. The trips are suitable for anyone who enjoy walking in the mountains but prefer not to carry a heavy back pack - all you need to bring on your hike is a small daypack. Three types of walks are available:
From hotel to hotel with luggage transfer and guide. All you need to carry is a small daypack. When you arrive at your accommodation, your luggage will be waiting for you. A knowledgeable guide will be able to tell you about the local nature and history, and you will get an insight into the area you are travelling through.
From hotel to hotel with luggage transfer but without a guide. Trips through the World of Peer Gynt, and Dovrefjell and Rondane national parks without a guide are also available. You will follow the same programme and your luggage will be transferred to your next destination. All you need to carry is a daypack. The trails are well marked, and you will receive a map and a route description; accommodation and luggage transfer will be booked and organised for you.
NEW: The Pilgrims’ Way between Oslo and Trondheim. Here you will stay at a charming mountain lodge, farm or inn and enjoy various day trips. You will get an insight into local history and culture, and get to visit local attractions and places of interests.

NB: By booking before 1. June 2013 we give a discount of NOK 250,- per. person.
