Norske Bygdeopplevelser offers a range of ski trips - with or without guide and luggage transfer. The vast network of cross-country ski trails in Gudbrandsdalen, Rondane and Lillehammer allows for enjoyable skiing from one hotel to another.
Accommodation is provided in quality hotels or lodges. Some of the trails are prepared daily, and others only when needed, i.e. after heavy snowfalls or strong winds.
The Troll Trail from Rondane national park to Lillehammer (8 days/ 170 km):
A fully way-marked trail through miles of unspoilt scenery, leading from Høvringen and the Rondane National Park in the north, via Ringebu mountain and on to Lillehammer, the 1994 Olympic host city, in the south. The Troll Trail offers excellent skiing in a magnificent mountain terrain.
Peer Gynt Trail from Espedalen to Skeikampen (7 days/ 75 km): The trail leads through the World of Peer Gynt on the western side of the Gudbrandsdalen valley. Stops along the way include Espedalen, Fefor, Gålå, Kvitfjell and Skei - all popular ski resorts with long traditions in winter tourism and some of the best cross-country skiing terrain in Norway!
Rondane National Park (8 days/ 63 km):
With Høvringen as starting point, the trail leads to Venabygdsfjellet through the gateway to the spectacular Rondane National Park at 800-1000 m altitude, and with stunning views of Rondane's towering peaks. Standing at over 2000 metres, these are among the highest mountains in Norway.
