Visit the Norwegian Road Museum, and you can enjoy a journey through 1000 years of Norwegian road history. The museum is located 12 kilometres north of Lillehammer, near Hunderfossen Family Park. It is open all year, and provides an insight into the history and technology of roads in an inspiring indoor and outdoor environment. Free admission!

The Norwegian Road Museum offers experiences for all the family. See the the interactive traffic safety centre. Machinery, activities and play area for children and adults alike in a large open-air museum, with pleasant walks in the area. Free entry. Separate activity programme for the autumn and winter breaks. The museum also organises exciting and nostalgic experiences during the weekends in Advent, and the chance to do some Christmas shopping in the museum shop. For the programme, see: www.vegmuseum.no.
