vindafjord Museum is formed as a farmyard with curing room, stabbur storehouse, mill house and barn. experience the stone-cutting and shipbuilding period in vikedal. thematic exhibition on Work and day-to-day life. the exhibition also de- picts festive holidays and leisure time, childhood, schooldays and health. the museum contains some of the oldest books from one of norway’s oldest libraries – die Wigedahlske Læse-selskap – founded in 1803. the yard at the museum also serves every third year as a prop for the Zetlitz play about poet and priest Jens Zetlitz. the outdoor area has a tripod grill, and there is the possibility of bow and arrow shooting.  

Open 9Am-1PM in the winter and with appointment from mid-June to mid-August.
