Description

Boat cruise from Bergen to Rosendal. Daily departures from Bergen all year. The cruise takes about two hours one way, and you can spend 3 1/2 hours in Rosendal, where you can stroll around this beautiful village, visit the Barony Rosendal and its rose garden or go for a walk in lovely scenery. You can take the boat one way only or as a round trip, returning to Bergen on the same day.

The Barony Rosendal is the smallest 'castle' in Scandinavia and the only one of its kind in Norway. Among other things, the Barony is famous for its impressive landscape park and rose garden and for the rich programme of cultural events it hosts, which include concerts, courtyard theatre performances, talks and art exhibitions. There is also a pleasant garden café next to the herb garden.

The boat also stops at Flesland and Os on its way to and from Rosendal.

Boat departs Bergen at 8.50, arr. Rosendal at 10.45
Boat departs Rosendal at 14.25, arr. Bergen at 16.20

Recommended itinerary Saturday and Sunday, 1 May to 30 Sept., returning the same day:
Boat departs Bergen at 11.00, arr. Rosendal at 12.55
Boat departs Rosendal at 16.35, arr. Bergen at 18.30

Tickets for the package tour can be purchased at the Tourist Information in Bergen, at baroniet.no or at rodne.no. Tickets for the boat only can be purchased at the Tourist Information in Bergen or on board.
