Description

Our own brewery built in a Viking-style where we produce different types of handcrafted beers, all characteristic in color and flavor. In summer light meals are served based on our culinary philosophy: Ægir beer in and to food. Ægir was awarded “Beer of the Year” in 2012.

01.05.13-16.09.13            Open from12 noon

17.09.13-30.09.13            Open from (Mon-Thurs) 6 PM, (Fri-Sat) 4 PM, (Sun) 12 noon-10 PM

01.10.13-20.12.13            Open from 6 PM

Flåm is located in the heart of Western Norway, easily accessible by car, bus, boat or train.

The Sognefjord area is particularly well-known for the high quality of its fruit, berries, lamb, game, mountain trout and goat's cheese.

What to do in the Sognefjord area

Experience the Sognefjord and the Nærøyfjord by boat, hike the Jostedalsbreen Glacier or walk from cabin to cabin in Jotunheimen National Park.

The Nærøyfjord and Aurlandsfjord

These two arms of the Sognefjord are both beautiful and dramatic. The Nærøyfjord is included on UNESCO's World Heritage List.

What to do in Flåm

Go on a journey with the spectacular Flåm Railway and later explore the Aurlandsfjord and Nærøyfjord. Flåm is also perfect for hiking and cycling.

Walking the Aurlandsdalen Valley

The Aurlandsdalen Valley, with its wild and breathtaking nature, is known as Norway's Grand Canyon. I walked the most scenic part of the valley.
