Description

LEVEL:
Moderate

DESCRIPTION:
From Bagn, drive to Nordre Fjellstølen. Follow the bicycle signs via Lake Hærevatnet and Hærvasstølen towards Tisleidalen.

The majority of the route is on quiet forest roads (gravel). When you reach Tisleidalen, turn right onto the main road 51. There are several places to stop for ice cream or a soda.
After 1 km you can either cross the river Tisleia and cycle along the Kjærlighetsstien route to Bjørkelstølen, or you can continue along the main road.

At Bjørkestølen Camping, exit to the right towards Merket. You then cycle along the Pardisfjord and at the end of the fjord, follow the signs via Kinn back to N.Fjellstølen. The last few km are steep.

There are many places along the route to go swimming or fishing. We also recommend a side trip on foot to the fascinating potholes "Jettegrytene" on the opposite shore of Lake Kvitingen.
