Bring your friends and relatives. M/S Strømsfoss can offer you an unique experience on the Halden canal. The Halden Canal is the older of Norway’s two canals. It was built between 1852 and 1860 but in 1861 the locks in Stenselva were destroyed and were not rebuilt until 1877. Furthest south
we find Brekke locks, 4 locks with a lift height totalling 26.6 m. Further north is Strømsfoss lock and the three locks at Ørje have a lift height of
10 m. The locks can be navigated by boats that are up to 24 m in length, 6 m wide and 1.6 m deep. On board you will be served meals.
