Description

LEVEL:
Moderate (not recommended for the youngest children)

DESCRIPTION:
A great route for active families on quiet mountain roads where you pass by many traditional summer farms with animals.

You can also combine this route with fishing, swimming and hiking. It is possible to complete the entire route in one day, but for families, we recommend an overnight stay.

From Tisleidalen, follow the signs towards Fløten and continue to Nøsen, Vaset and keep following Panoramaveien (road) to Ulnes.

From Vaset to Ulnes, it’s quite steep (downhill) and there might be some traffic on this road. When you reach the bottom, turn right and cycle along the west side of Strandefjorden.

Make a left towards Leira and continue towards Fagernes. From there you will need to take a bus back to Tisleidalen.

(If you are located in the Fagernes area, you can take the bus to Tisleidalen in the morning and get off at the Joker Fjellbu bus stop.)
