Description

Small game hunting in high mountain territory. Grouse is the most important game, you may also be lucky and find them along the shores of Bygdin.

You can also go rabbit hunting, but will rarely catch any. the game season at Eidsbugarden Mountain Territory ends at October 15th.

General description.

The territory start at 1500 m above sea level and rises up to 2000m. It is easy to walk along the northern end of Bygdin, elsewhere you will find the territory rocky and difficult to climb.

General rules.

together with your hunters licence you will have to bring with you a map with the boundaries of Eidsbugarden Montain Territory as well as a form who has to be filled in and delivered to the local authorities after the hunt.

A description of the territory.

Eidsbugarden Mountain Territory is situated at the western end of Bygdin, both sides. The walk from the road to the territory is a 15-30minutes walk. The area surrounding Eidsbugarden is privat property.

Road description.

From Tyin to Eidsbugarden it is 20 km on a gravel road, road 252. From here you walk for 1/2-1hour to reach the territory.
