Within the Vestre Slidre Statsalmenning you can fish in 20 lakes and 3 rivers at an altitude from 800 to 1400 masl. There are solid populations of trout and perch.

Children under the age of 21 can fish for free. They don't need to obtain a license, but the age might have to be documented.

3 days single person 100,-

1 week single person 150,-
1 week family 190,-
Whole season single person 225,-
Whole season family 280,-

The family license is valid for spouses/live partners and children over 20 years. It can be purchased in local convenient astores, via SMS or at www.inatur.no.


FISHING PLACES
The fishing license for Vestre Slidre Statsalmenning covers 20 lakes and 3 river sections of together approx. 10 km length.

FISH SPECIES
All lakes and rivers in the area have either pure trout or mixed populations with trout and perch. There's an overview over the different places on the fishing license.

FISHING SEASON
Rod fishing is available from 01. January until 15. September.

BOAT
Fishing from boat is allowed. On Lake Storfjorden, motors with max. 7 hp are allowed.

DIRECTIONS
From the E16, exit by the Ulnes church and follow the signs towards Vaset and Panoramavegen (toll NOK 40,- in 2014). You can also acess the area from further north along the E16 along private gravel roads (toll) that exit at Røn, Slidre and Ryfoss.
