Description

Cudrio’s Warehouse is a museum of coastal life located on Kongshavn wharf in Langesund town centre.

The warehouse is believed to have been built in the first half of the 18th century by Hans Christian Lund to serve his various businesses. It now bears the name of a subsequent owner, Jacob Cudrio.

Bamble Museum welcomes visitors to Cudrio’s Warehouse during the summer months. The exhibition focuses on everyday coastal living and domestic life in fishing communities in the old days.

Another exhibition covers the history of Langesund’s mechanical engineering works.
