Description

Guided walks 
Located south of the Rondane massif, Venabu offers a wealth of hiking opportunities. You can climb to one of Rondane's peaks at over 2000 metres asl, walk across mountain plateaus and vast expanses, explore waterfalls and canyons,see wild reindeer or visit a mountain farm where you can sample delicious farm food. Experienced and knowledgeable guides will ensure a more eventful and exciting trip.

During the summer season, from medio June to the beginning of September guided walks are available most weeks. For detailed programme,see Venabu.no.

Transportation


By car: E6 north to Ringebu (60 km north of Lillehammer), continue for another 5 km, leave E6 and follow Rv. 27 direction Venabygd/Folldal. Follow Rv. 27 for approx. 16 km. By rail: All trains on the Dovre line stop at Ringebu station. The hotel will pick up from Ringebu  station when ordered  in advance. By express coach: Nordfjordekspressen or Gudbrandsdalsekspressen to Ringebu Station. See www.nordfjordekspressen.no or www.gudbrandsdalsekspressen.no.
