The area of Tyin-Filefjell and Maristuen is located in the North-Western region of Vang, with Jotunheimens majestic mountain peaks in the background.

More than 170 km of trails are waiting for you, from the forrest terrain at 800 m.s.l. to the high mountain trails up to 1500 m.s.l. This area is well known for early snow and long winter seasons. You will also find a lit trail in the Tyinkrysset area - a good alternative on windy days.

In the Eastern area of Vang, the Slettefjell trails are connected to both the Eggeåsen and Beitostølen trails which will take you past unique traditional farm areas in a beautiful and varied terrain. In the area between Syndin, Helin and Grindatjern, you can explore the Grindafjell trails, which again are connected to the mountain area in the West towards Vaset and Tisleidalen.
