Start your tour in Bragernes Torg. Cross the Bridge and over to Drammen Museum. The museum is a great experience for history and art lovers of all ages, with permanent exhibitions of Nøstetangen Glass, Baroque silver, 1700's drammensfajanse, furniture, textiles, interiors, church art and folk art. Continue to Glasshytta Kari Ulleberg, at Union Brygge. Here you can watch glassblowers at work, and buy nice gifts. Go over the bridge "Ypsilon" and Drammen Theatre. Take a peek inside the foyer - if you're lucky you also get a look inside the beautiful main stage with velvet, gold ornaments and a spectacular chandelier.
Bragernesåsen, ca. 80 min walk.
If you like to get out in nature, you can take the wonderful trip up Bragernesåsen.
Start from Bragernes Torg and go on Bergstien. Follow the Brennerbakken, Sommerfrydveien and Wulfsbergsvei to De eldres vei and follow the path upwards until you reach the restaurant Åspaviljongen. Are you hungry, take a lunch here, you get a great view over the city, the river and the fjord. If you are fit, go up to the Spiral top, here you will find an open air museum, a restaurant and the starting point for a large network of paths and trails into the forest.
