Visitors' recommendations in the Sognefjord area

- The best experience I had was the walk up to Molden, because of the view of Jotunheimen, says Alan Barber, on vacation in Norway.

Winter by the Sognefjord

Wake up with a fjord view and go skiing in the mountains. Some of the best snow conditions in Norway are only minutes away from the Sognefjord.

What to do in the Sognefjord area

Experience the Sognefjord and the Nærøyfjord by boat, hike the Jostedalsbreen Glacier or walk from cabin to cabin in Jotunheimen National Park.

The Sognefjord

Norway’s longest and deepest fjord extends inland to the national parks of Jotunheimen and Jostedalsbreen.

Getting to the Sognefjord and around

The Sognefjord is very centrally located at the heart of Fjord Norway, and this is where the best routes between Bergen, Oslo and Trondheim meet.
