Description

The Otra river system is one of the biggest river systems in the district of Sørlandet. Despite the fact that the region is affected by acidification,the Otra has good stocks of trout.
Although the trout is generally small, bigger specimens (1-4 kg) are nevertheless caught every year.
The fish in the river might be of somewhat variable quality.
In the mountains are lakes with good stocks. Some of the lakes are accessible by car, while others require a hike. So, here is something for everyone.
Fishing licences are available for sale at Valle tourist office.
