Description

Length: approx. 3 km one way
Duration: approx. 1 hr. up
Altitude difference: 180 meters
Suitable for children: from 3-4 yrs.

Follow road 51 North for approx. 6 km towards Båtskaret. Small parking area on the right hand side by Båtskardstølane.
The route starts with a short ascend before the path levels out. Soon after, you will reach a crossing. The path to the right leads to a nice viewpoint at Heklefjell (a 10 minute walk). The path to Gravolskampen continues straight ahead. The terrain is mostly flat but with a few small hills. If the weather is warm you can cool off in one of the many ponds along the way.
Tip: If you are looking for a longer route, we recommend starting at the top of the ski lift in the center of Beitostølen and hiking via Grønekinnkampen to Gravolskampen and around Gravolstjernet back to Beitostølen. This tour is about 15 kilometers long and takes about 4−5 hours.
