Description

Hovden has many attractive fishing spots where you can use worms, spinners or flies as bait. Try your luck in the idyllic mountain lakes near the Sloaros tourist cabin or along the river Otra. Other good fishing spots are Lislevatn, Mjåvatn or Væringsdalen.

There are boats for rent at the Hegni Recreation Area by the lake Hartevatn. All the locations mentioned are known for their tasty mountain trout. Fishing licences for the various areas for sale at the Tourist Information or via SMS (see notice board in the fishing area).
