From Bjøråskardet you have the most stunning views you can get from any marked tourist route to the mountains around Innerdalen valley. The steep Skarfjell, Trolla and Tårnfjellet with Innerdalstårnet is straight forward and Vinnufjell with snowy peaks and its blue-green glacier to the right. Deep down is the green Innerdalen with twinkling lakes and bright green meadows.
Gullsteinvollen is one of the Fjordruta-cabins of Kristiansund and Nordmøre Trekking Assosciation. The cabin is situated up in Gullsteindalen valley. It is an hour's walk along a tractor road to the cabin. This is an manageable trip for most people.
