Saltholmen Lighthouse - the islets were used early in the 19th century for the extraction of sea salt. Lighthouse from 1882, manned until 1952 when it was automated.
The Kassen canal in Høvåg is a beautiful canal providing a new gateway to a pleasant little trip just beside Blindleia.
Visit the potholes at Sild, 25 minutes driving southwest of Risør. The potholes here are the largest in Northern Europe and are very popular during the summer to swim in. They are 5 metres wide and six metres deep.
