We have 12 cabins (fishing huts) which is situated in the waterfront, overlooking the marina. Each cabin is conveniently furnished, with kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom on the first floor. The second floor will find a 2 double rooms.

It is 800 meters to the grocery store, the Gallery, gas station, and the bus stop for the bus from Sortland.
Finvåg is an old cultural site, a boarding school for more than 100 years, now the place is turned into a coastal hotel located in the heart of Øksnes Vestbygd. Holmvik Sjøhus is placed close to the harbor of Nyksund and is a part of Holmvik Brygge. We rent out cabins with its own kitchen and bathroom to guests who want to have it more modern and privatly. Holmvik Sjøhus and Nyksund is also beneath the main season an attractive place to visit. In autumn it invites you to hiking tours, plucking berries and mushrooms; in winter you can see the northern lights and a sky with an endless number of stars. In springtime our guests is enthusiastic to go ice fishing, watching animals and do hiking trips in the snow.
Holmvik Brygge in the harbor of Nyksund is a living museum, where our guests can feel how fishermen were living about 100 years ago. In addition to their room our guests can also use some common rooms and our cozy kitchen.
Close to the light, the nature and the coastal culture in Northern Norway. The nice seahouses/rorbu are built after the old north-norwegian tradition and have a marvellous view over the sea, the mountains and wildlife, where you can see the boats passing by. On the ground floor there is a livingroom with a TV, kitchen with a diningplace, showerbath/WC and a small hall. The two bedrooms are at the first floor with stairs from the livingroom. Breakfast can be ordered. Free WLAN. We have the midnightsun shining through the windows from 22. may - 22.july if the weather is nice.
