Skeikampen, at 1,123 metres above sea level, is not one of Norway’s highest mountains, but it is easily accessible. The view from the top is outstanding, a gigantic panorama of the nearby mountains and the Peer Gynt Road, Jotunheimen and Dovrefjell.
Helgafossen is a great trail specially tailored to families at Skeikampen. The round trip covers around 4 km of flat terrain.
The hike takes you around Lake Sjusjøen, there are several places where you can start and end your trip. The trail follows a footpath suitable for both wheelchair and stroller
Flokofallet is Lillehammer's highest waterfall with a 32 meter drop.
The walk from Nordseter, via Nevelfjell, to Slåseterfjell is a wonderful 3-hour trip in the Lillehammer region. Gentle terrain - ideal for families with children.
