A blue ice walk in the middle of the high mountains of Norway where you will get a spectacular view of the western part of Jotunheimen and Hurrungane. On the glacier we do a tour through a landscape of crevasses and blue ice towers. This is a nice all-day hike where the guide will tell you something about flora, geology and glaciers.
Norgesguidene can take you on guided climbs in the area of Hurrungane. Starting from Turtagrø you can get to the legendary Store Skagastølstind as well as Store Austabotntind and Søre Dyrhaugstind among a other peaks that require the use of climbing techniques and equipment. We are offering glacier walking, canyoning, fishing and mountain walks in the Sognefjord region, close to the Jotunheimen national park, and the Jostedal gacier national park.
With activities as glacier walks at the Jostedal glacier, canyoning in the river Leirdøla, fishing in the glacier lake in Tusbergdalen, and mountain walks in and around the Jostedal glacier national park, Leirdalen Bre og Juv can offer activities for the whole family.
From our base in Leirdal next to Jostedal, in the end of Sognefjord, we take small groups on tour in the remote glacier area in and around the Jostedal glacier national park.
The route passes through Morka-Koldedalen valley, goes over Stølsnosbreen glacier and continues on rock to the summit.
