At the end of the Longyear valley, there are two glaciers, Lars Breen and Longyear Breen. Longyear Breen have over thousands of years eroded the mountains and pushed the rocks in to a huge moraine in front of the glacier. It is in these rocks we find 40 to 60 million year old plant and animal fossils.
On the West side of Svalbard, craggy mountains and large glacier will meet us. Your total Svalbard experience are waiting.
