The Russian mining settlement Pyramiden was abandoned in 1998, leaving the buildings and infrastructure intact. Join us for an exhilarating ATV safari! Our first stop on this trip will be at mine 5. In this area you will be able to see reindeer, different kind of birds and maybe polarfoxes. From there we drive further on into Adventdalen, take a short stop at Longyearbyens old airportand continue up to Mine 7. From the top of the mountain we have a fantastic view over Adventdalen and the fjord.

We pick you up at your accommodation, and equip you with headlight, and warm clothing, before we drive out in the majestic Adventvalley, to meet our friendly dogs, and very often also puppy’s, who loves the attention.
Our experienced guides show how to put together and dog-team, and 2 and 2 guests working together put up their own dog-team of 6 eager and enthusiastic huskies.
The guide will carry the necessary protection against possible polar-bears, and lots of local knowledge to share. The route may vary depending on weather. This is a thrilling experience in the darkness of polar-night.
The trip is about 4 hours, and is suitable for all with normal good health.
Among the fjords, through the valleys and on the mountains you find birds nesting in the summertime. We will walk on the biggest bird mountain in the area with beautiful view over Isfjorden.
