On this summer snowmobiletrip we will have a stunning view over Longyearbyen in the north, and the valley, Fardalen, to the south.
This trip follows the west coast of Spitsbergen. We will drive through terrain that trappers and miners have used for decades. We will have a longer stop in Barentsburg and serve you a Russian lunch at the hotel.
Driving through the Svalbard landscape in the twilight is magical. The light will transform the white snow into blue and pink pastel colours. And is constantly changing. We will also serve a three course dinner in a traditional sami lavvo.
Endless valleys, tight riverbeds and high mountains define the landscape in Nordenskioldland. During this trip we might see the Sassenfjord and the magical Temple Mountain.

We pick you up at your accommodation, and equip you with headlight, and warm clothing, before we drive out in the majestic Adventvalley, to meet our friendly dogs, and very often also puppy’s, who loves the attention.
Our experienced guides show how to put together and dog-team, and 2 and 2 guests working together put up their own dog-team of 6 eager and enthusiastic huskies.
The guide will carry the necessary protection against possible polar-bears, and lots of local knowledge to share. The route may vary depending on weather. This is a thrilling experience in the darkness of polar-night.
The trip is about 4 hours, and is suitable for all with normal good health.
Among the fjords, through the valleys and on the mountains you find birds nesting in the summertime. We will walk on the biggest bird mountain in the area with beautiful view over Isfjorden.
