Take a different hiking trip, on the northern side of the Adventfjord.
We cross the Adventfjord by boat and disembark at Revneset. This transfer takes approximately 10 minutes. We then head into Louisdalen towards Carolinedalen. At the top of the valley we turn and make our way up onto Forkastningsfjellet. From here we can enjoy magnificent panoramic views over the Isfjord, stretching from the Nordenskiöld Glacier in Billefjorden to Trygghamna near the west coast.

We enter the icecave and in the lights from our headlamps we experience ice as few people has seen it. The still standing air in the cave gives the ice perfect conditions to form fantastic shapes and beautiful colors.
