Ringerikes Museum is the regional museum for the municipalities of Hole and Ringerike in Buskerud county. The museum is important both locally and nationally. It was here the rector’s wife Anne Colbjørnsdatter defeated the Swedes in 1716 and here the famous writer duo Asbjørnsen and Moe met.
Veien Cultural Heritage Park is one of the biggest burial grounds from the Early Iron Age in eastern Norway. Today the burial ground consists of 107 grave mounds. The museum also houses temporary exhibitions and hosts several viking role playing events.
