Gunnarsholmen was originally an old coastal fortress built for the protection Kragerø, and is today an open area with excellent swimming opportuneties including a beach and a salt water swimmingpool, kiosk, lawn area and service facilities.
Since 1949, eight buildings from the 1700s and 1800s have been collected here: MILL, granary, barn, storehouse, lounge, farmhouse, grain dryers and crofter. On seum conducted several major events each year.
Sannidal together with Kil, has the oldest urban settlement in Kragerø municipality. Here you can also find the municipalitys only Shoppingcenter, Amfi Kragerø. Bygdetunet a historical farmyard is located nearby the wooden church of Sannidal (1771).
Stangnes by Levang is one of Kragerøs`finest recreation areas with smooth polished rocks and bathing sites. During summertime, coffee & Norwegian waffles are served at the old fishermans-home that the Kragerø and Oppland tourism Association disposes.
