"The finest ice-scenery in Europe", said the English mountaineer William Cecil Slingsby about the three wild ice-falls called Lokebreen, Odinbreen and Torsbreen which tumble down from the Jostedalsbreen glacier at the face of Austerdalsbreen. Here you can get just a taste of the wild glacier landscape without having to walk over the glacier itself.
Four unique hikes with an experienced guide, along good trails in the mighty nature of the Fjords. Daily hikes last from 4 to 5 hours. Staying at Nes Gard, a guesthouse in a charming building with traditional architecture and interior.
ICETROLL offer kayaking tours on remote glacier lakes in Jostedalen, on the eastern side of the Jostedalsbreen Icecap. The tours, designed for any ability, range from day trips on one of two lakes, an overnight tour and, for the more adventurous, a 2-day tour.
