In Saabye's library you can find all works published by Lars Saabye Christensen. Be it all his novels, poetry, plays, films, music - including translations. All this is donated by Lars Saabye Christensen.
Ekspedisjonen restaurant and cafe was established in June 2003 and offers 45 seats in charming surroundings. During the summer, one can enjoy the evening sun out at Nyksund port. The restaurant serves fresh fish from Nordland, homemade cakes and various coffees. It also provides catering throughout the year.
Sjøhussenteret is a member the "Arctic Menu" project - a network of 38 enthusiastically run eating houses in North Norway. The object of those participating is to serve both traditional and new dishes based on North Norwegian ingredients and produce, while at the same time promoting local raw materials, products and businesses and providing visitors with a taste of North Norway.
