Vangsen, Jostedalen’s highest mountain, is easily accessible in the summer thanks to the Vanndalsvatnet access road. Myrhønna, the most distinctive mountain in Jostedalen, is a landmark. For centuries the pyramid-shaped peak, buttressed by the Geisdalsfossen waterfall, has been a popular motif with painters and photographers. From the summit you can see both the Jotunheimen range and the Jostedalsbreen glacier.
