The fishing camp is located in the picturesque valley of Skarsteindalen, in between mountains, 12 km from the Commune centre Andenes (where there are shops, restaurants, petrol pumps, automated tellers, an airport, etc.).
Finvåg is an old cultural site, a boarding school for more than 100 years, now the place is turned into a coastal hotel located in the heart of Øksnes Vestbygd. In Finvåg we offer several activities during the summmer. You can rent a room in the historical buildings, you can row a boat and you can eat and enjoy lovely European wine.
During weekends and holidays, you can rent our fresh new, nice and roomy apartment with an outstanding oceanview. The apartment lies at the starting point of the Dronningløypa (Queens Path). It's a marked path where you can walk in the mountains and along the shore between Nyksund and Stø.

We have two pleasant holiday homes available in the village of Rødsand, about 2,5 km from Alsvåg and 11 km from Myre, in the rural borough of Øksnes. The houses lie sheltered from the elements, ca.100m from the sea, with a wonderful view out over Gavlfjord. An ideal starting point for walks, activities and sight-seeing trips here in Vesterålen.
Cultural hotel in north – Sortland Hotell – is situated in the centre of Vesterålen and Sortland. The hotel has spring 2010 been renovated. Our 50 rooms includes 4 suites, all have flatscreen TV and original paintings. Famous Norwegian author Lars Saabye Christensen has his own library which has all of his novels and translations.
Andøy Friluftssenter has been built to harmonise with nature and consists of a campsite and well-equipped cabins. High standard rooms with own bathroom in the new cabin Aurora.
As a starting point for trips in the district, fishing in the sea and lakes, hunting and hiking both in summer and winter, the place is ideal.
