Join us on a safari in our sturdy and open Polarcirkel boat towards the mighty Tuna- and Von Post glacier. On the way we pass the home of the famous hunter Hilmar Nøis. Warmly dressed with a float suit we head for the fjord named “Sassen”. We will make a stop at Diabas – a teeming bird cliff – before arriving at Sassenfjord. On our way back home the guide serves an expedition lunch ashore in Bjonahamna.
Join us on a safari to Fuglefjella and Hiorthamn in our sturdy and open Polarcirkel boat. Warmly dressed and equipped with a float suit we head out Isfjorden towards Fuglefjella which is home to thousands of nesting sea birds.
This trip starts in Nybyen. We hike up the moraine landscape along Lars glacier on the side of the mountain Sarkofagen. On Lars glacier, we can see the tracks after summer melting in the form of great meltwater channels.

Crossing the Isfjorden we approach the impressive Esmarkglacier in the Bay of Ymer.
A warm lunch from the barbeque is served as we leave the glacier behind and make our way towards the Russian mining settlement of Barentsburg.
