Sogn Fjordmuseum is a modern museum with exhibits about our interesting fjord history. The exhibition of boats ranks among the best ones in the country, and the workshop of a boatbuilder displays the tools of this trade. In addition you will find fishing equipment and various bits and pieces connected with the fjord and fjord life.
Learn about the shoemaker craft at Aurland Shoe Factory. By visiting one of the very last shoe manufacturers in the country we can see how the shoe is made. After cutting the leather, fast, skilled hands transform the leather into shoes on the sowing machines.
