The tour starts that the Fossum Kurs- and Feriesenter in Hauggrend. Bike along main road 355 for about 2 km until you reach the old stone bridge of Leirfall and then take the first path to the left.
A great trail, following the path from "Bukkerittet", a mountain bike competiotion.

Mainly flat and gentle terrain. However, some sections of Vestlandske Hovedvei are hilly with a relatively soft surface (38 km).

A tremendous nature excitement, covering from the well known Resort Geilo and across the Hardangervidda Plateau along the ”Rallarroad”, ( the Navvies’ Road ) construction road from building Bergen Railroad in early 1900, and visit the Sognefjord by Flåm Valley. Towards the western Norway to Voss Resort. Approaching the Fjord, climbing the only strong hillside and passing through the charming, wild and beautiful Eksinge Valley with typical old roadconstuctions, meeting the Osterfjord and some tremendous waterfalls like Hesjedalsfossen, where you can walk behind the water. Follow the ancient protected road along the Osterfjord to Dale, visit the fabric outlet of “Dale of Norway” before the train takes you to Bergen. You might prolong your stay in Bergen getting enough time to explore this charming city of the old german trade people ”Hanseaten”
