Sandar Church

The present Sandar Church was built on the ruins of a middle-age church in stone from the 13th century. The new church was erected in 1792 in teh style of Louis XV. Originally the church had a half-circle dome instead of a spire, but this was changed in 1868 to the spire we know today.

Bugårdsparken is Sandefjord's main facility for sport - and unique in Norwegian standards.You can play tennis, badminton, football and handball and go for a swim in the swimminghall. Or just for a walk around the lake, Bugårdsdammen.  The park also provides good opportunities for jogging.
