The river that runs through Kvinesdal town centre contains a growing population of salmon and sea trout. Fishing is permitted between 1st June and 15th September. The fishing licence can be purchased from several retail stores in Kvinesdal.
The Krågeland skisenter is located next to the RV42 road, west of Kvinlog in Kvinesdal. The ski field has two runs which are approximately 550 metres long. There are also cross-country trails in area with different conditions.
The trail starts in Årli, Kvinesdal. It extends eastward across the valleys through Snartemo in Hægebostad, Konsmo in Audnedal, Laudal in Marnardal, Greipstad Church in Songdalen and Kristiansand. From Kristiansand the trail enters Aust-Agder. It crosses Birkenes municipality before ending up at Landvik Church outside of Grimstad.
Knaben has opportunities for both cross-country and downhill skiing. The ski resort is open weekends in addition to weekdays in the Winter and Easter holidays.
