This expedition takes you deep into the wilderness. It will give you a great taste of the Arctic wildlife. This is for adventurers keen on getting to know dog sledging and Svalbard. Join us through wide valleys, over glaciers and over mountain passes to the remote East coast.
Dogsledding on Spitsbergen is a special experience, during the polar night the experience is unique. Drive your own dogsledge and join us for a 2-daytrip under the northern lights.
The trip goes to the Bear Valley out in the icefjord.To drive along the coast is an experience with a fantastic bird life, flora and fauna, and if we are lucky we may see a polar fox by the mountain where 1000s of little auks are nesting.
We will have photo stop along the way.

When the snow starts melting at the beginning of June,we start using dog carts instead of sledges. At this trip you drive your own cart with 6 huskies in front.Our guide will help you harness the dogs and drive in front of you with his own team.The trip goes through beautiful Adventdalen ,which offers unique arctic nature and lots of reindeer!

Every participant is an equal, everyone helps share the load, from planning the route, making food, pitching the tent and handling the dogs. The first night will be spent at the kennels in Tommys`s Lodge. The next day we head east with dogsled. No previous experience driving dogs is necessary; our dogs have experience and know their work.
