Family Ski-race in Havsdalen
From end of February to beginning of April, when the days are getting longer, we will arrange Ski Safaris. Making our own tracks in unspoiled snow across the plateau, on mountain tops and through enchanting woodland. A Ski Safari is a guided ski trip high up in the mountains of Rondane and Ringebu.
Cross-country ski trail usually prepared around Christmas. This roundtrip connects Sjusjøen and Nordseter, and offers the opportunity to return to Nordseter via the forest trail.
Trip to Hornsjø and back. An excellent trail which is prepared as soon as the snow arrives. Hot drinks and lunch are available at Hornsjø Høyfjellshotell. Ideal for skiers with some experience.
Set in a spectacular scenery and in close proximity to Rondane National Park, Kvamsfjellet can offer machine-groomed trails which connect to the trail network leading towards Høvringen in the north and Venabygdsfjellet in the south.
With the very edge of the mountains as starting point, visitors have every opportunity to experience cross-country skiing at its best.
If you are in good physical condition, you should test your stamina along the Olympic 50 km cross-country trail. This was where Vladimir Smirnoff famously beat Bjørn Dæhli to the gold medal. The courses used during the Lillehammer Winter Olympics are considered the most challenging in the world.
