The skating rink in Arendal is open from November to March, and the rink is perfect for speed skating, bandy, ice hockey and playing on the ice. NB! The rink is now closed for the season. New possibilities next November/December 2015.

Well lit trail at Birkenlund in Arendal

There is a well lit trail at Birkenlund which is 4,4 km long.  Start at Birkenlund school, where you can park your car.

Well lit trail at Østre Tromøy near Arendal

Parking at Sandnes school on the isle of Tromøy. The 1,8 km long and well lit trail starts on the opppsite side of the road. During the winter season this is a great crosscountry skiing trail for beginners.
