Alpine skiing and snowboarding
Each one of Oppdal's four mountains is big enough to make it a good resort in Norway. And with the four mountains connected with one ski pass, Oppdal Ski Resort offers good variations in skiing. There are many different ski slopes in all difficulties, from easy, green runs to challenging black ones.
Ex-World Cup skier Marc Girardelli claims that Oppdal is the best giant slalom hill in the world.
There are two children and beginner areas, one terrain park and best of all - all four mountains face the sun. Check out the Oppdal trail map.
For the children
There are two children's areas at Oppdal Ski Resort, one in Vangslia and one in Stølen. They both face the sun, so cold temperatures are seldom a problem, even for the youngest skiers. Both hills have special slopes for kids, and every weekend there are kids' races with prizes for everyone.
With one single ski pass, you get access to Oppdal's four mountains, and all of its many ski lifts and slopes.
Kids under the age of seven ski for free if they have a helmet. Helmet-rental is free.
