Reason for visit? We wanted a trip where we could enjoy many activities.
We have been to Spain several times, but now we wanted to have a holiday with many activities and experiences. (Mr. Møldrup had been to Geilo as a child).

We enjoy the nature, and we chose Geilo because here we could experience many activities such as river rafting, fishing, hiking, horseback riding and biking. All these activities are accessible within the Geilo area.

Length of stay? One week.

Seen so far? We had planned all the activities in advance and we have been going horseback riding, fishing in the lakes, rafting in Dagali, wandering and biking to Prestholtseter. We have also taken the chairlift to the top and been hiking from there. One day we went to Flåm.

The children have also participated in planning the activities, and they have really looked forward to all they were going to do in Geilo.

Where are you going next? After Geilo we go to Kristiansand and further to Skagen in Denmark.

Best experience? Rafting in Dagali, specially since this was a new experience for the whole family.
In Geilo there are so many things to do in one place and something for the whole family.

Worst experience? None. Only thing is the more limited selection in food stores and that the food is expensive. This however we knew in advance.

Biggest surprise? The accommodation Geilolia Ferieleiligheter was much better than expected, nice well equipped apartments in the centre of Geilo, very nice kitchen facilities, peaceful, nice views and good service. The reception had long opening hours and there was always somebody to ask if we had questions.
