Hemsedal is one of the top ski resorts in Northern Europe. Snow conditions are stable, and the resort boasts plenty of ski lifts and slopes.

Snow conditions are stable and very good in Hemsedal from November to May every year thanks to Hemsedal's location in the mountains halfway between Oslo and Bergen.

Solheisen Skisenter
Not far from Hemsedal Skisenter (approximately 6 miles), in the Grøndalen Valley, you will find the smaller ski centre of Solheisen Skisenter. Solheisen has three lifts and six slopes, and is a perfect place for those who want to ski somewhere quieter.
