One of the most popular attractions in the region is the swimming complex Østfoldbadet in Askim. Here you can enjoy slides, wave machines, a children's pool and much more.
You will find two golf courses in Indre Østfold. Askim Golf has two nine-hole courses. One of them is a "pay and play" course, which means that you do not need a green card to play here. It is very suitable for families. In Spydeberg Mørk Golf boasts a 18-hole park and woodland course, a nine-hole midsize course and one six-hole course for children.
Indre Østfold has been a center for motorsport in Norway for many years. Rally drivers Petter and Henning Solberg come from this region, and the area has some of the best motor sports facilities in the country. The most famous of those is Rudskogen Motorpark, where you can watch motorcycle and car races, or go for a spin on the tarmac yourself.
In Askim you will find Romsåsen mines, where you can climb and abseil. And right outside Mysen, in Trømborg, Mysen Putball and Paintball Park. If you are looking for some quieter activities there are several places where you can hire a canoe.
