Go sightseeing with KulTURruten minibus
Every hour between 11 am and 4 pm on Saturdays, a minibus will take you on a free tour to the attractions in Moss. The bus starts its tour at Moss Railway Station, and you can hop on and off as you please along the route.
First stop is Galleri F15 at Alby, on the peninsula of Jeløya. Galleri F15 is one of the oldest, most traditional institutions for contemporary art in Norway. Free admission. Tours can be booked. The gallery shop has a wide range of prints, art, books and design products. You can enjoy the famous Alby pastry in the café and beautiful views of the Oslofjord.
Next stop is Røed Gaard. The distance between Alby and Røed is very short, and perfect for a walk. The manor house Røed Gaard offers a diversity of cultural experiences for the entire family. The main building is almost 300 years old, and is situated in beautiful parklands. Røed Gaard has a lively cultural atmosphere where several artists have their workshops and shops, in addition to galleries for both handicraft and pictorial art.
In the Stabbur (a traditional Norwegian storehouse on pillars) you can find very good antiques. At the farm shop you can buy home-made chocolate and other delicacies. The café serves freshly baked bread and cakes, and elderberry tea. There are various outdoor activities during the summer months, such as concerts, shows and a special, annual event called Røed Rock.
The bus will then take you to the fairy-tale manor Hotell Refsnes Gods, famous for its excellent restaurant and collection of contemporary art. Refsnes is perfect for a romantic dinner for two, or a pleasant meal in the company of good friends. Ninety artists are represented with more than 400 pieces. You will find works by Munch, Warhol, Weidemann, Sitter, Raddum, Ung and Nortvedt, just to mention a few.
When time allows, the hotel staff will be happy to give you a free guided tour of the hotel.
After visiting Hotell Refsnes Gods, the minibus takes you to Moss town centre. Galleri Henrik Gerner and the Gudegården Restaurant are the gate to Møllebyen, where you can find Moss Town and Industrial Museum. (The museum is closed Saturdays during the winter). In this area you will also find the cinema, the library, a micro brewery and cafés.
Walk to Storebro, the brigde crossing Mossefossen Waterfall, you can take a look at the statue of King Christian Fredrik. From Storebro you also see Konventionsgården.
If you want to, you can take the bus further south. Throughout the beautiful landscape of Rygge, by way of Dyhre Gartneri to Ekeby Farm. At Ekeby you can say hello to the goats at Norways only goat tower, while tasting the speciality: Delicious, imported South African wine.
Hire a canoe or kayak

For paddling on the Oslofjord, you can rent a kayak from Moss Kajakklubb.
Moss & Rygge Golf Club – Evje Golfpark is an 18-hole course is an 18-hole course of international standard. High quality training facilities for pitching, chipping and putting, a driving range with grass tee-off areas, clubhouse, pro-shop and a cosy restaurant.
The course lies 10 minutes by car from the centre of Moss and Moss Airport Rygge, with access from Larkollveien (rv. 119).
