Moss offers everything from gourmet restaurants to cafés serving local food and award-winning kebabs.

Hotell Refsnes Gods

The most elegant restaurant in the area is Restaurant Munch at Hotell Refsnes Gods. Here you can enjoy French-inspired cuisine based on the best Norwegian and international raw materials.

You can also enjoy art here. Hotell Refsnes Gods has the region’s largest collection of contemporary art. 90 artists are represented with more than 400 pieces. You will find works by Munch, Warhol, Weidemann, Sitter, Raddum, Ung and Nortvedt, just to mention a few.

Hotell Refsnes Gods, which has a lovely view over the Oslofjord, is an old elegant mansion from 1767.

Ekeby Gård

Ekeby Gård is one of Norway’s only restaurant with roasted kid on the menu. The restaurant is an exclusive alternative for private parties of 30 – 84 guests. The farm is also the country’s largest producer of kid meat.  The meat comes from Ekeby’s own herd of South-African Boer goats, a goat race that has been especially bred for high meat quality. Feel free to combine an evening at Ekeby with a seminar, sailing trip, golfing, goat safari or other cultural activities.
