Winter at Oslo Winter Park Tryvann

Oslo Winter Park Tryvann offers good skiing only 20 minutes from Oslo city center.

Alpine and snowboard

Oslo Winter Park, formally Tryvann, is located 523 meters above sea level, and is normally open from mid-November to April. After development over the summer of 2011, the resort now boasts 18 slopes and seven lifts, and offers alpine skiing, snowboarding and Telemark skiing, as well as special areas for children and beginners, terrain parks and two half-pipes. In other words challenges for all ages - children, youngsters and adults will all find suitable slopes here.

Evening skiing is available five days a week until 10 pm, with floodlights on all the slopes. The longest run is 1,400 meters, total drop is 381 meters. A powerful snow cannon system ensures snow from the beginning of December until April.

This winter the World Twin Tip Championships in super-pipe will be held at Oslo Winter Park. On 9 March 2013 riders from around the world will battle for the world championship title.

Oslo Winter Park's newly renovated terrain park consists of the whole Hyttli area with five slopes and a chairlift as well as a new super-pipe and advanced course on the newly added Wyller 2 run. You will find a variety of rails, jumps and elements. There are elements both for beginners and for more experienced skiers and snowboarders.

Ski school

With the acquisition of the historic Tomm Murstad SkiSkole, Oslo Winter Park now has its own ski school. This means better packages for guided tours, private instruction and classes, both during the week and at weekends. Click on the link below for more information about the ski school and what they offer.

For online booking, please contact Tomm Murstad Skiskole directly or by email skiskole@tryvann.no

Ski hire

Toppsenteret offers a wide range of equipment for hire for alpine, snowboard and cross-country skiing. Contact them by email rental@tryvann.no.

For the children

Also new this year is the new beginner and children's area. This new area has its own access point and lift designed to improve the learning experience. In addition, the Tommkleiva area will continue operation as the children's area at the winter park. At Tommkleiva there are two lifts and three small slopes with snow elements for kids. The ski school has courses for children from the age of three.

Toppsenteret has a playroom for children age two to seven (children must be accompanied by an adult).
