Where to eat in Sandefjord

Sandefjord offers a wide variety of cuisines for memorable meals to reasonable prices. Among the several renowed chefs is Winner of Bocuse d'Or 2009.

Sandefjord offers first class culinary experiences. Geir Skeie, winner of the Bocuse d'Or in 2009 is behind the town's first seasonal fish restaurant - Brygga 11, Geir Skeie. The town is home to several renowned chefs. Odd Ivar Solvold has upgraded SMAK with a café and bakery, wine bar, brasserie and food studio. Local food is on the menu at the Rica Park Hotel and one of the Rica Hotel chain's best chefs is running the kitchen. In addition, we have a wide range of delicacies, desserts and flavours from around the world. 

The latest addition to the dining scene in Sandefjord, Brygga 11, is the brainchild of the 2009 Bocuse d'Or winner, Geir Skeie. Located by the water, the restaurant focuses on seafood.

Or visit the SMAK Brasseri where renowned chef Odd Ivar Solvold offers both a gourmet restaurant and a less formal lunch and dinner restaurant.

At Rica Park Hotel you will find an international à la carte restaurant and an outdoor restaurant with a view.

Fru Wold offers delicatessen and light meals in the café.

La Scala is an Italian restaurant. During the summer months it has its own outdoor restaurant on the quayside. Peppes Pizza and James Clark, a classic English pub, are also located here.

You will find a cafeteria serving traditional Norwegian food at Sandefjord Motor Hotel. Also worth a visit is the traditional bakery and café Ivar Halvorsen.
